Does QRT replace QLab?
No.
QLab remains your cue software.
QRT displays the essential information on a dedicated screen.
How does QRT communicate with QLab?
Through QLab’s built-in OSC protocol.
A few settings are enough to establish the connection.
Can I use multiple screens?
Yes.
QRT is designed to run on a dedicated display or an external screen.
Does QRT understand complex QLab groups?
Yes.
QRT recursively follows Timeline, Start First and Start First & Enter groups, even when nested across several levels.
Can QRT trigger or change a cue?
No.
QRT is read only: it displays the cue list, but never sends a GO or changes a cue.
Is an internet connection required?
Internet access is required to download QRT from the Mac App Store.
After that, QRT works locally with QLab.
Can I try QRT before buying it?

The Mac App Store version includes a 7-day trial starting with QRT’s first effective connection to QLab.
Are Millumin and MadMapper included?
Not yet.
